QUASAR™ eQA software simplifies Machine QA through automated EPID image analysis, eliminating the need to purchase film. This time and cost-saving application automates the analysis and reporting for important TG142 recommended QA tests*.
QUASAR™ eQA software includes a central application which interacts with a SQL database and runs unattended in the background. It automatically analyzes EPID images, and manages communications, user roles, security settings and machine configurations.
The QUASAR™ eQA software client includes a DICOM viewer which interacts with the central application to enable the following functions:
- Visualize and approve test results
- View database trends
- Manage test configurations
Distribute test results by email to a pre-determined list of email recipients. Approved test results are retained in a database for long-term storage and trend analysis. Results can be exported to Excel or saved as a PDF file.

QUASAR™ Crosshair & Field Edge Markers
Used as image reference markers when using QUASAR™ eQA software. Each template contains one or more radio-opaque markers which are detected within the analyzed images in order to calculate pixel scaling and identify the center and size of a light field.
